About the Founder
Claudio Tartaglia is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience in global supply chain management and the distribution of medical products. As the founder of 7 Step Sourcing Consulting, he brings hands-on expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, and real-world applications of procurement technologies.
Through his career, Claudio has run end-to-end sourcing events across multiple spend categories, developed RFPs, managed competitive bidding, implemented operations management software platforms, and delivered spend analytics that surfaced cost drift trends and opened strategic conversations around ESG and sustainable sourcing alternatives.
His mission is to bring the same rigor and strategic discipline that enterprise organizations rely on to small and mid-size businesses that are ready to source smarter.

Our consulting work is informed by the same technology we build. We developed 7StepSourcing.com as a procurement management platform because we saw firsthand that many of our clients needed ongoing systems to sustain the processes we helped them create.
The platform is not a replacement for strategic consulting. It is a natural extension of it. When a client engagement calls for technology to support vendor tracking, contract management, or savings analytics, we can recommend tools we built ourselves rather than selling third-party licenses that may not fit.
